TRAVELPROGRAMS
Our Museum Travel Programs offers world class small group travel experiences, with opportunities to go behind the scenes at museums and cultural attractions throughout the world. Whether it's a day trip or an overnight excursion, a regional destination or an international adventure, traveling with the New England Air Museum helps support our mission of preserving our region's aerospace heritage.

NEAM Travel Programs average between 20-30 participants, and our fees include transportation, hotel accomodations, and most meals in addition to all excursions and gratuities. Our trips also include a dedicated, 24/7 onsite guide, and allow for full refunds if cancellations occur before the registration deadline. Our day begins with a visit to Old Ironsides, the U.S.S. Constitution, the oldest commissioned naval warship still afloat. Launched in 1797, the vessel is on display at the Charlestown Navy Yard, part of Boston National Historical Park. After a tour of the historic vessel and yard, we’ll visit the U.S.S. Constitution Museum for self-guided exploration and a boxed lunch. We’ll then travel to nearby Chestnut Hill for a tour of the Metropolitan Waterworks Museum, a historic pumping station home to an 1894 steam-powered water pump recognized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers as a national engineering historic landmark. We will return to the New England Air Museum at approximately 6:00pm.
