Join the New England Air Museum in commemorating Women’s History Month with Women Take Flight 2021, a month-long celebration of the past, present, and future of women in aerospace. With a combination of virtual and in-person experiences, this year’s Women Take Flight event features something for everyone!
Women Take Flight offers opportunities for visitors to discover the history of New England women in aerospace by connecting one-on-one with women employed in the aviation industry. This year we’re offering the following social-distanced, in-person experiences for museum visitors as part of Women Take Flight 2021. All activities are included with general admission and are subject to change.
Every Saturday and Sunday in March from 10:30am-2:30pm join the museum’s Public Programs team for women in aerospace themed scavenger hunts, Flight Science Demonstrations, as well as take-home versions of our popular Build and Fly Challenges.
Join us every Saturday in March from 10:30am-12:30pm for an opportunity to meet a local woman in aviation. From pilots to engineers to aerospace industry professionals, we’ll have a special guest onsite each Saturday for social distanced chats with visitors on a drop-in basis.
