Women Take Flight

Saturday, March 9, 2019, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This event is held in commemoration of Women's History Month and in conjunction with Women of Aviation Worldwide Week. Visitors of all ages are invited to celebrate women's contributions to aerospace history through a variety of hands-on activities, special events, and lectures.

Women Take Flight will also feature hands-on STEM activities for children, flight simulators, and climb-aboard experiences in historic aircraft, including a Lockheed 10-A Electra- the same model aircraft that Amelia Earhart flew during her attempted around the world flight in 1937.

Unless otherwise noted all events and activities are included with general admission and are subject to change. Please note that library passes are not valid on this event day.


Group Admission

You may purchase discounted group admission for Women Take Flight. Your group must have 10 or more participants to qualify for the group admission rate. Groups must arrive together at check-in. Registration and payment must be received by March 4, 2018. The group rates are $13.00 for adults ages 15 and up, and $8.00 for youth ages 4-14. Children ages 3 and under are free.
