Thoughts About the 58th: Because we were assigned to the 58th BW, we were able to fly around the world and see the vastness of the oceans, deserts, mountains, continents and our great country. I would know how blessed we are to live in this wonderful country of the United States of America. In the 58th we were with the original B-29 crews and we were the ones who worked out the problems of this great new plane. Many new and lasting friendships were established and I feel honored to be a member of the 58th Bomb Wing.
