Post WWII Civilian Occupation(s): Graduated from Univ. of Buffalo School of Engineering with BS degree in Electrical Engineering in 1949 - Missile Engr. For Bell Aero Systems - Electrical Design Engr. For Houdaille Corp. - Sr. Electrical /Electronic/Nuclear Engr. For the Westinghouse Electric Corp. from which I retired.
Thoughts About the 58th: It provided me with the maturity and discipline necessary to be given the privilege of being part of a unique crew of 11 men in command of an important instrument of war. I admired the genuine seriousness and effort that each member of the crew put into his job. It also made me realize what a great country America really is.
