Thoughts About the 58th: I did not realize until long after WWII how special the 468th was. Men like Paul K. Carlton, Doc Schonlau, Pat Saunders, Jim Edmundson were real leaders even then. We “experienced” General LeMay in India and Tinian and got to know how special he was long before the world acknowledged him!
