Thoughts About the 58th:
It made me grow up fast. Gave me a wonderful education and made one appreciate life and people. Seven of our original eleven crew members are still in contact with each other.
I've always felt that I got a wonderful education in the Army Air Corp. In addition to the schools that I attended (including working with engineers at Boeing) the association with my fellow crewmembers was also an education. Six of my crew mates were college grads, and I think some of that rubbed off on me.
