Post WWII Service: Air Weather Service for 16 years which included Hurricane and Typhoon reconnaissance in five different squadrons stationed in Bermuda, West Palm Beach, Florida, Japan, Guam, Philippines and Savannah, GA. 314th Tactical Air Command (TAC) 2 years in Vietnam flying C-130s.
Post WWII Civilian Occupation(s): Flew 20 more years out of Boise, Idaho, which included: Instrument Instructor, Charter, Pilot Instructor, Back Country and Corporate Pilot.
Thoughts About the 58th: My close association with my bomber crew taught me that each crew member was a professional in his own field. Each member depended on one another to successfully complete each flight. Friendship established with all my crew developed into a lifetime commitment to this day.
