Missions Flown: |
In India we flew three photo recon missions - one over Singapore. Around March we went to Tinian - flew 15 missions over Japan. Also flew over Battleship Missouri at surrender. In June 1945 we flew war weary B-29 from Iwo Jima to California and attended lead crew school at Muroc Dry Lake during the month of July. Returned to Tinian in August |

I met people from all walks of life and had to get along with all of them. When I left the service I was a much more humble person than when I entered it. |
