Thoughts About the 58th: Proud to serve and glad to return home after all those take-offs and landings in B-29's. I had the honor to fly it overseas and return home on the same plane, leaving from Florida and flying to the China-Burma-India theater and on to the Mariana Islands. War ended and came home to the USA via California. That's a trip around the world I won't forget.
Comments: Mr. Apgar passed away March 4, 2007 and is buried at Fairmount Cemetery in Fairmount, NJ.
