Lowell National Historic Park & Larz Anderson Auto Museum

Explore New England's industrial legacies and their connections to aerospace in support of the New England Air Museum.

Lowell National Historic Park celebrates the industrial transformation of America. Travelers will enjoy self-guided exploration of this planned city including canals, mills, and machine shops. After lunch, we will travel to Brookline, MA for a guided tour of the Larz Anderson Auto Museum, home to America's oldest collection of historic automobiles. There will be time for self-guided exploration of the museum's Gilded Age estate, grounds, and gift shop before departure.

Our itinerary:

  • 7:15am:
    Meet at the New England Air Museum and enjoy coffee and breakfast pastries.
    Depart the New England Air Museum aboard a luxury motor coach equipped with a restroom as well as complimentary wi-fi, bottled water, and snacks.
    Approximate arrival time at Lowell National Historic Park. Enjoy self-guided time in the park with special access to Bootts Cotton Mill and the Mill Girls Exhibit.
    Depart Lowell National Historic Park and enjoy a group luncheon at a local restaurant before traveling to Larz Anderson Auto Museum.
    Arrive at Larz Anderson Auto Museum and enjoy a guided tour of their historic automobile collection.
    Self-guided time for exploration of the museum grounds and gift shop.
    Depart Larz Anderson Auto Museum.
    Approximate arrival time back at the New England Air Museum.

Cost for Museum members: $150 per person; non-members: $200 per person.

Fee includes complimentary parking at the New England Air Museum; museum admission and tour fees; morning coffee and breakfast pastries; bottled water and snacks; a group luncheon; roundtrip luxury motor coach transportation with wi-fi and an onboard restroom, and all gratuities. This trip is limited to 24 participants and full payment is required to secure spots.
