September 28 - October 4, 2020

Home to over a dozen military installations as well as NASA’s Langley Research Center, the Hampton Roads region is a top destination for military history enthusiasts.


Our itinerary:

Monday September 28, 2020: Travel to Hampton Roads, VA
Our trip begins with a late morning departure from Bradley International Airport to Norfolk International Airport via coach airfare. After a short trip to downtown Norfolk, VA, we'll check-in to the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside located in heart of the Norfolk tourist district and enjoy a group dinner together.
Tuesday September 29, 2020: Military Aviation Museum
After breakfast at our hotel, we'll travel to the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, VA for an exclusive tour of the museum and its Fighter Factory aircraft restoration facility. Lunch at nearby Warriors Tap House will follow before we return to Norfolk. Dinner will be on your own.
Wednesday September 30, 2020: Battleship Wisconsin & Victory Rover Norfolk Naval Base Cruise
After breakfast at our hotel, we'll begin our day at Nauticus, home of the Iowa class U.S.S. Wisconsin and the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. After an Engine Room tour, we'll enjoy some self-guided time at Nauticus before ending our day with an informative Norfolk Naval Base cruise. Lunch and dinner will be on your own.
Thursday October 1, 2020: Mariner's Museum & McArthur Memorial
After breakfast at our hotel, we'll travel across Hampton Roads to the Mariner's Museum where we'll enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the U.S.S. Monitor's Conservation Lab. After some self-guided time at the museum, we'll travel to the General Douglas McArthur Memorial for a tour. Lunch and dinner will be on your own.
Friday October 2, 2020: Wright Brothers National Memorial
After breakfast at our hotel, we'll travel aboard a luxury motor coach equipped with an onboard restroom to Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kitty Hawk, NC. We'll visit their newly renovated museum as well as spend time walking the memorial grounds before enjoying a group lunch. We will return to Norfolk, VA in the late afternoon and dinner will be on your own.
Saturday October 3, 2020: Virginia Air and Space Center
After breakfast at our hotel, we'll travel across Hampton Roads to the Virginia Air and Space Center. We'll enjoy a guided tour of the museum as well as time for self-guided exploration before returning to Norfolk for a free afternoon of shopping, sight-seeing, or relaxation. Lunch and dinner will be on your own.
Sunday October 4, 2020: Return to Bradley International Airport
After breakfast at our hotel, we'll depart the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside for Norfolk International Airport, arriving at Bradley International Airport at approximately 2:00pm

 
Single Occupancy: $3,150 per person
Non-members add $100 per person
 
Double Occupancy: $2,600 per person
$500 per person deposit required

Fees include complimentary parking at the New England Air Museum; round-trip coach airfare from Bradley International Airport to Norfolk International Airport; six nights of First-Class accommodations with complimentary Wi-Fi; one dinner, two luncheons, and six hot breakfasts; museum and attraction fees; motor coach transportation; all taxes, service fees, and gratuities. This trip is limited to 24 participants and will require a valid passport or REAL ID compliant driver's license or ID card.
