Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:
Dad passed away in 1991. He never spoke much about his time in the service, but it certainly made a lasting mark on his life. The ingenuity and skills learned during that time were displayed over and over again, in the unique way he fixed things or created things out of nothing. His love of country was continually demonstrated through the hours volunteered at VA Hospitals and in serving at his local VFW, many years as Commander.
