Storage Hangar Expansion Completed

NEAM Expanded Storage Hangar
The 10,000 sq. ft. expansion to the Museum's storage hangar has been completed and is now being put to use. Along with the expansion, new paving was done around the building to help in moving aircraft in and out of the building. JLN Contracting of Berlin, Connecticut was selected as the contractor and the project was supported through a grant provided by the Connecticut State Department of Community & Economic Development.
The New England Air Museum is owned and operated by Connecticut Aeronautical Historical Association, a nonprofit educational institution. It is situated on a 58 acre parcel of land at Bradley International Airport that has been made available for the Museum’s use through the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
Since moving to its current site in 1981, the Museum has built three exhibit hangars, a restoration hangar, a 10,000 sq. ft. storage building and the now 22,000 sq. ft. storage hangar.
