Post-WWII Military Service:
1st Lt Garl Ray joined the National Guard in 1940 and was mobilized with the U.S. Army 36th Division. He joined the Air Cadets and learned to fly the B-29. His B29 caught fire and crashed in China. He flew another 23 missions before leaving the Air Force in 1945
 
Post-WWII Civilian Occupation(s):
Garl worked at Snowden Oil and then Gearhart Owens. He retired in 1982.
 
Comments:
Mr. Ray passed away February 5, 2011. He is buried at Greenwood Memorial Park
