Founded the A. Dzen Construction Company in 1945 and was involved in numerous town jobs and local projects. He was a member of St. Bridget Church and a life time member of the Rockville Lodge of Elks 1359, a member of the 40th Bomb Group Association as well as a member of the Manchester Lithuanian Club. In 1970, he was one of the founders of the Manchester State Bank and was on the Board of Directors for many years.

Mr. Dzen passed away January 12, 2008. He is buried in St. James Cemetery in Manchester, CT.
