Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:

Comments:

His plane was shot down May 25, 1945 and the entire crew went down in the north pacific close to 2100N-14248E which is south of Japan approximately 500-800 miles.

Henry Hepfner's name is listed on the "Tablets of the Missing" at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii

I don't know hardly anything about my relative. I have just started to look into his service history and where he may have been lost. His status is still, "missing."
