This Fiat A.12 engine is a 6 cylinder, in-line, liquid-cooled engine. Rated at 300 hp, it was used on reconnaissance aircraft such as the SIA 7B, Fiat R-2, SAML S2 and the Caproni Ca.46 bomber. A total of 13,260 units were produced between 1916 and 1919.
