The New England Air Museum will hold its annual Veterans Day Event on Saturday, November 11th, 2017
Visitors to the Museum will have the opportunity to meet and talk one-on-one with veterans of WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. Included in the program will be re-enactors from WWI and WWII; and at 1:00pm William Purple, a WWII B-17 pilot from the 8th Air Force, will share his story of the bombing raid on Berlin on February 3, 1945. Bill was the lead aircraft on this raid.

Visitors are encouraged to bring new personal hygiene products that will be donated to a local veterans home. An area will be set aside for children to make holiday cards for veterans.
