Date transferred from the 58th Bomb Wing:

Post-World war II Military Service:   Continued service in Air Force Reserve -- retired as Commander of a Security Police detachment.

Post-World war II Civilian Occupation/s:   Licensed Public Accountant in Texas. I operated my own accounting and tax service from WWII until I retired on December 14, 1980.

Thoughts about service in the 58th Bomb Wing:   I have always appreciated serving in the military, being associated with so many like-minded individuals and making friends that will last a lifetime. Serving gave me opportunities to learn and do things that would never have happened otherwise. I was personally congratulated by General Curtis E. LeMay for destroying a dry dock and floating dry dock at Singapore. This event was cited in official history of Army Air Forces in WWII.
