VS-44A with Peg

Chat with Peg Noonan, whose mom, was a nurse/stewardess that flew on the VS44A “Flying Boat”, as it made its round trip flights between New York City and Foynes, Ireland from 1942-44.  Share Peg’s recollections of her mom’s first hand experiences flying across the Atlantic, aboard the Excambian.  Also, hear some wonderful and very touching stories about the Noonans, an aviation family.

Peg will be at the museum from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on June 5, 12 and 26.  You usually will find her in the vicinity of this magnificent airplane.  She plans to be writing her book, while under one of the aircraft’s giant wings.
