| Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing: |
|
Severely injured in explosion – Compound comminuted fracture of the left ankle – He was a Flight Engineer who arrived on the scene immediately after the first explosion. He attempted to move airplane 42-63394 and when
this was impossible he ran from the scene and was injured by flying shrapnel.
