Graduated from University of Missouri in 1949 with a degree in journalism. He came to Syracuse in 1954 and then in 1959 founded and became president of C. Donald Williams Advertising Inc. He also served a term as president of the National Transit Advertising Association. Throughout his business career, he was an active member of Rotary International.

Mr. Williams passed away August 29th 2011. He is buried at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt, NY.
