Museum Announces "Half-Off Mondays" for Senior Citizens![]() The Museum will offer a discounted admission for seniors ages 65 and up. This promotion will be available for every Monday in May and will begin May 5 and run through Memorial Day, Monday, May 27. The senior admission rate to the Museum will be discounted from the regular rate of $11.00 to $5.50. As Mondays are typically the quietest day of the week, docents on duty will be able to offer visitors a more personal and intimate experience.

From time to time, the Museum's staff identifies artifacts that can be considered surplus as they do not fit in with our future restoration plans. Visitors will be requested to show proof of residency.
![]() The New England Air Museum, which is owned and operated by the Connecticut Aeronautical Historical Association has had a presence in Windsor Locks since the early 1960s, several years after its founding.
![]() To celebrate the 159th anniversary of the founding of Windsor Locks, there will be a number of town-wide activities and programs to be held throughout the week. For information about the celebration, call commission member Bill Fournier 860-805-7976.
![]() Posted May 20, 2013 Museum Participating Blue Star Museums Program![]() ![]() NEAM will be participating in the Blue Stars Museum program in collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 1,800 museums across America to offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2013. Leadership support has been provided by MetLife Foundation through Blue Star Families. The complete list of participating museums is available at www.arts.gov/bluestarmuseum.
![]() Posted May 20, 2013 Promote the Museum with a Special Interest License Plate![]() ![]() In cooperation with the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles, you can replace your Connecticut license plate with a special interest plate featuring the New England Air Museum. Along with the Museum's name is an image of the Sikorsky VS-44 Flying Boat. The one-time fee to replace your current license plate is $65 and $134 for the vanity plate.
