Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:
I was young and eager to do anything I was told to do. But as a ground crew member, I was out of harm's way by hundreds of miles. I always envied the bravery of the flight crews as they climbed aboard for the next raid because they were the ones that destiny called upon to put their lives on the line.
