Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:
Most memorable experiences include: the ground crew being awarded a commendation for the most combat missions during a crucial period in early 1945; and posing with a war correspondent with the Hellbird's Emblem when he visited Tinian Island. It was published in the hometown paper the Call-Bulletin.
