Post-WWII Military Service:   Attended George Washington University, graduating in 1951 with a BA in Journalism. Recalled to active duty on 12/7/51. Flew B-29's, KC-97's, and B-47's while in SAC, and also completed a tour in Germany as a missile launch officer with the 38th Tactical Missile Wing. Following a tour in Vietnam, he retired as a Lt. Colonel in January 31, 1969.
