Post-WWII Civilian Occupation(s):
Dr. Rounsaville was a graduate of the University of Texas and the University of Texas Medical School at Galveston. He practiced as an internist for 42 years in Dallas from 1946 to 1988 and belonged to the Dallas County and Texas State Medical Societies. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Shrine, the Shrines Black Horse Patrol and of the Dallas County Sheriffs Posse.

Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:
Dr. Rounsaville flew from Salina, KS to India with the Walter George crew. Per Yates Smith, he painted two cases of Scotch black and labelled them "Medical Supplies" so he could take his favorite whisky to India.
