Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:
I'm proud to have served in the 58th. Was in the first group and squadron of the B-29 formed in Salina, Kansas, and then to Great Bend Kansas.
 
Comments:
Mr. Hackney passed away May 9th 2011.  He is buried at Hillside Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Plymouth, NC.
