| Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing: |

The 58th Wing, 462nd Group, 768th Squadron was the best outfit to belong to. Our Group Commander, Col. Kalberer, was tops. Our group was the "Hellbird" group. Many memories are associated with the 58th Wing. We had good times along with some bad. Overall my time with the 58th was both inspirational and educational. Thanks to the 462nd slogan: "Red tails in the sunset, way up in the blue, the 462nd will always come through."
