Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing:
My job as supply sergeant for the base engineers on a B-29 air base in India and on Tinian later, required no acts of heroic bravery but in retrospect left me with a feeling of much satisfaction in that I filled a minor but necessary function in the successful operation of the 58th Bomb Wing.
