| Worked at aircraft factory in Fort Worth about 1 year. Quit aircraft plant in 1947 and started school at Hardin College in Wichita Falls, TX. I took three courses: watch repair, engraving and jewelry repair under the GI Bill. Graduated in 1948, moved to Muenster, TX, and started my own business, "Wiese Jewelry." After 11 years, moved to Gainesville and bought Kinnes Jewelers. |

| Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing: |
| My thoughts are very simple. We bombed all the main cities of Japan until they gave up! Also bombed other targets (enclosed list of missions). According to records of the 58th Bomb Wing, we lost 690 lives. I knew some of them personally.The Hellbird book was put together by Phil Oliver of Dallas, TX. I purchased two books. I am pleased to donate one to the 58th BW Memorial museum office. |
