| Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing: |
| He was very proud of his Organization and people in it. Being in SAC he had many TDYs and such -- England, Germany, Africa 3 times, and in the States to inspect aircraft for safe return to destinations. |

| Comments: |
| M/Sgt. Wallis was an honest and dedicated man proud of his career. He was in Army Air Corp before it was the Air Force. Also in Strategic Air Command from its inception. He reached long and hard to see that plane was in condition to fly. Stationed in India during WWII. He was in China finding parts for plane from one downed on Tinian Island as war ended. He finished his career in Manpower at David-Monthan AFB where he retired, after 32 1/2 years, on March 31, 1973. Died at age 88 on September 12, 2002, in Tucson, AZ. Buried with Military Honors from the Elite Honor Guard at David-Monthan AFB.
Since this information is by someone other than David Wallis hope it is sufficient.
