| Thoughts on the 58th Bomb Wing: |
| During overseas service there was neither time nor inclination to reflect on the deeper meaning of service. Only after reunions in both the 20th A. F. association and 58th Bomb Wing association have I given much thought about what we went through or what we had accomplished. (Home newspapers did a better job of reporting results of missions.) I have come to really appreciate the dedication some of our fellow veterans have toward preserving the past in their tireless efforts to assemble, print and distribute photos and stories. |
