Worked for Shamrock Gas & Oil in the laboratory department in Sun Ray, TX. He quit when they had an explosion and his brother was almost killed. The two started painting houses after that in Dumas. TX. Returned to work for Shamrock in Gallup, NM, but in the field painting cracker plants. When job was finished went to work for contractor, got hurt, had three back operations. Bought a help-yourself laundry in Poteau, OK.
