This month’s attention was directed to repair of the left wing. Internal stringers and framework were fabricated and installed. Corroded main spar doublers were removed and new units fabricated and installed. Several panels were re-attached and damaged sheet metal radiator cooling exhaust ductwork was fabricated to match that originally installed by Anson Johnson. All flap and aileron hinges were installed. Landing gear hydraulic system valving and control units were temporarily installed to get an idea what was missing. Several parts were fabricated and installed.
