SUMMER PROGRAMS at the New England Air Museum **********************************************************************
Discovery Series: Activities specifically designed for our youngest visitors ages 4-6! Explore aviation and space through storybooks, Museum exhibits, and hands-on activities. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. A snack will be provided. 9 AM – 12 PM Cost: $15 for each session ($12 for Museum members) Choose one session or the whole series!
July 8: Balloon Adventure
July 9: Just Plane Fun
July 10: 3-2-1 Blast Off
Modeling Series: Students ages 10 and over explore the world of aero-modeling. Professional modelers will instruct you on the techniques of building and flying balsa and tissue paper models. You will have your own model to build and take home. All materials and instruction are included in the cost of the workshop. 9 AM – 12 PM Cost: $15 for each session ($12 for museum members)
July 16: The AMA Model Cub
Exploration Series: Students ages 7-9 will be engaged in hands-on activities that will allow them to explore the fields of airplane and space flight. A snack will be provided. 9 AM – 12 PM Cost: $15 per session ($12 for Museum members) Choose one session or both!
July 23: Exploration of Flight
July 24: Exploration of Space
Challenge Series: Different topics will be investigated during each of three separate workshops. Build and Fly activities will challenge our students of ages 10-14 to use problem solving skills while learning about the principles of flight. 9 AM – 2 PM Cost: $25 per person ($20 for Museum members) Please bring a bagged lunch.
August 5: Flight Challenge

Lego Engineering Challenge: Transportation System for the Future (ages 10-14) Work with your team to design, create, and market a futuristic transportation system, then present your creation to your parents at the end of the day. Please bring a bagged lunch. August 19, 9AM – 2PM (presentation to parents at 1PM) Cost: $35 ($30 for Museum members)
